Zouka Kalma Kage

Zouka Kalma Kage is the daughter of Kazormido Kage and Kayiko Yurya Kage. She is also the younger sibling to Ryu Kage. She was born in the realm Ankokutairiku only to leave that place at a very young age where she had then formed the realm known as the Terran Realm and later formed her planet Tuonela. Upon her wedding day where she was to marry Ikuhara she had been captured by Kaos and had then on become a Kaos Messenger where she was given the name of Dark Selenity, also known as Sailor Nirriti, although she is no longer one. Kalma is currently the counterpart of Usagi Tsukino and has five children. Her children are Voima, Angelus, Black Lady, Seiji and Takeru Kage.

Physical Description

Standing at the height of 5’6” with pale Caucasian skin, Kalma is a woman who probably doesn’t seem “beautiful” at first sight. And this is definitely something which doesn’t bother her, as it doesn’t seem to attract others to be around her, which means that she won’t have to worry about making friends with others that may distract her from her mission. Kalma has oval shaped sapphire blue eyes, which often give off a cold expression around others, particularly teammates and enemies. The coldness in her eyes, are often from the constant battles which she had faced in the past, and till this day, continues to remember rather they be painful or not.

Having straight silver hair, her hair is often considered to be “puffy” towards many. The ends of her hair is perfectly straight, no edges, or cuts in between, and ends just a few inches below her torso. But the strangest thing about her hair is probably her bangs, which are a completely different color than her hair. Instead of silver, they are black and are naturally curved inwards and end a few inches below her chin.

Often for clothing Kalma is seen wearing outfits that are black and red. She will often wear what she finds suiting to her, and her personality. Rarely will she ever be seen in jeans, let alone any other type of clothing. But for her most used outfit, Kalma is seen mostly wearing a black velvet skirt, with a chained belt around her waist. Attached to the belt is a rather small silver crystal. The shirt which goes with this outfit is a red sleeveless shirt, with a black borderline on the top of the shirt. The shoes, on which she is normally seen wearing, are often black high heeled shoes in any type of style.

Along with her clothing, she is often seen wearing the same type of jewelry every day. Her jewelry consists of two gold upper armlets which are just a few inches below the shoulders. She also has another set of lower armlets which are just below her elbows. Her anklets are seen on both arms, just as her gold bracelets are. Aside from the anklets, Kalma also wears a gold necklace daily, which is around her neck almost acting as a choker. Attached to the necklace are two triangles on the far right side and the far left of the necklace. In between the necklace is a large silver crystal. On her ears, she also has gold hoop shaped earrings, which are also seen on everyday wear. Following her earrings, she also has a set of two gold rings which appear on both her index finger and her forefinger. These rings appear on both of her hands, on the same fingers.

Although any expect her jewelry to come off, her jewelry in fact is permanent, and replaced certain areas of her skin. Each piece of jewelry was given to her by Kaos, in order to stay under its control.

Sailor Nirriti

Name: Dark Selenity, Sailor Nirriti
Realm of Influence: Chaos, Death, Deceit, and Time. This is however, only in her "Sailor Senshi" form. When in a civilian form she uses her families trademark of spells and magical abilities.

Fuku Description

Nirriti wears a gold semicircle headdress as a Tiara. It circles around her entire head, and acts as a crown and is visible in both Senshi form and civilian form. The headdress begins at a certain point behind her bangs, and doesn't touch her forehead skin. Following her tiara is her earrings which consist of gold hoop shaped earrings which appear on both ears.

In replacement for Kalma's sleeves, Kalma has two upper armlets which act as cuffs in after her tiara and earrings is what is regarded as a choker or a necklace. Her necklace is gold, and has two small triangle shapes on both the far right side of the necklace and on the far left side of the necklace. In the center of the necklace is a large silver crystal which also acts as her Henshin item.

Nirriti has a black Sailor Collar that is V-shaped in front and has a broad square shape at the back and shows her entire chest area. The back of her collar ends a an inch below her shoulders and is attached to a dark red shirt (bodice) which has an upside down V-shape in the front and nearly shows her entire stomach. The V-Shape begins in between her breasts but the shirt covers her breasts completely. In the center of her breasts, attached to the Sailor Collar is a very small silver crystal which matches the other two crystals on her fuku in a form of way. Both upper armlets can be seen on both of her arms. Just a few inches below her elbows are also another set of armlets, also appearing on both of her arms. These armlets can also be seen in her civilian form, as they are not there for simple decoration, but a controlling device which was given to her by Kaos, as are the rest of the jewelry on her body.

Around Nirriti's waist is a gold chain with a small silver crystal attached to the chain. Connected to the chain is a black split skirt with no sides as her legs completely show, as it only covers the back part of her body and the front part of her body, but doesn't cover the legs. Just a few inches below her knees are also an area where the skirt begins to look like it's torn. On her upper leg has a gold leg band on her right left leg. Around her ankle is a gold anklet which appears on both ankles. Following her anklets is a pair of shoes which are simple black high heeled shoes.

History

Kalma was born to Kayiko Yurya Kage and Kazormido Kage and was given the birth name of Zouka Kage. She was born into a prestigious family and spent most of her life preparing to become queen when she was of age. Having been raised by her brother Ryu Kage due to her parents not being around, Zouka grew up the same as other Kage’s but also a bit differently in comparison to other Kage’s. This was due to the fact that Kalma’s personality was different in comparison to them. As a child she displayed signs of naiveté and always wanted to please others. She did everything she was told to do without question in hopes that she would be capable of seeing her mother and father for the first time as she never met them before. She was also a rather curious child, always asking questions and seemed to dream of things that weren’t meant to be dreamt of for Kage’s.

When Kalma turned a year old in Kage years Kalma was to participate in a tour of the Kage realm. While on the tour, Kalma began to hear a strange tune echo within her ears that nobody else could hear. Uncertain of what it was, Kalma felt the need to find the source and wandered away from her family. She came across a woman who was covered in a cloak that later revealed herself to be Chouteki Yamiuchi. While Kalma was completely unaware of what her true intensions were, Kalma continued to sing the song with her but failed to notice that Chouteki was also attempting to harm her body by using various mental techniques on her body. Chouteki activated a rare virus that was known as the Kage virus and at the time had no cure. When Kalma’s guardian Kouhei finally found Kalma, Kouhei told Kalma to return to the group.

Upon hearing Kouhei’s orders Kalma quickly agreed after realizing that she spent far too much time on her own. But before she was to say goodbye to Chouteki, Chouteki was nowhere to be found. When she arrived at the location her family was at, Kalma fainted and later on began to show symptoms of the Kage virus. This would end the tour as they returned back to the palace and Kalma had been diagnosed with the Kage virus by the healers. It was said that she would only have 24 hours to live and that the Grand Elder of that time ordered everyone should leave the palace while she lie on her deathbed. Once everyone was out of the palace and Kalma was alone, Chouteki was watching from the Yamiuchi realm and deactivated the virus. Kalma awoke twenty-two hours before she was to die and began to roam around the palace in search for life. But no one was there.

To comfort herself, Kalma began to sing the melody that she heard earlier that day. It seemed to sooth her, but unbeknownst to her this lead her to creating a new realm which many referred to it as Earth’s realm. Kalma at the time was a bit puzzled on how she created such a magnificent place, but she also realized that creating realms were not in her jurisdiction as a child Kage. With the realms creation it would lead to many consequences. Such consequences were that if she died, so would the Earth’s realm. Her mental state also became flawed due to the fact that she was too young to use a high level spell and simply keeping the realm stable took a lot of work. But this was also where Kalma realized that her dream would come true: her dream of meeting other beings, seeing new worlds and cultures.

Kalma created planets, various races as well as other necessities that she thought a realm would need in order for people to survive. She however, had no desire of ruling over a realm and turning it into a realm similar to the Kage’s own. She allowed her people to have the freedom they so desired and allowed them to make their own laws within their own worlds. She even passed down power to others so that way she wouldn’t have to monitor places unless it was truly needed. She wanted her secret to be hidden. She didn’t want anyone to know she was “God” and that she was also a Kage.

She did however; find herself creating a planet of her own to live upon. This planet was known as Tuonela. Upon creating this planet Kalma found herself being forced by her people to take on the duties of Queen. It was then where she began to continue her trainings as a Kage through the various Kage spell books that she transported to her realm that once belonged to her when she lived in the Kage realm. Upon her coronation day, Kalma was crowned Queen and several days after a ball was held in celebration and it was there she met Ikuhara.

The birth of Dark Selenity

It was also upon their wedding day where things would change entirely for Kalma. Her planet was attacked by a being known as Kaos and she died in the line of duty trying to protect her people. She was then enslaved by Kaos and was reborn with no memories of her life or what she truly was. It was as if she was a whole new person. She was given the name of “Dark Selenity” (DS) to use and the only thing she remembered was how to use her powers in order to serve as a Kaos Messenger and Senshi. Under the enslavement of Kaos, Kalma took on her orders with no remorse.

When Kaos ordered her to attack the Moon Kingdom she carried out her orders but was forced to flee after a period of time. Things did not go wrong however, everything was turned into ruin. But only Queen Serenity and several others remained. When Kalma returned to the Moon Kingdom in order to finish the job, she was forced to flee yet again but this time came across her planet Tuonela. It was unfamiliar to the woman yet somehow she felt at home. Because of this Queen Serenity managed to gain an upper hand when she chased Kalma to the planet and trapped her within the Ginzuishou.

In the 20th Century due to an incident that occurred with Usagi and Mamoru, the Ginzuishou shattered into pieces and caused Kalma to be free from her imprisonment. Kalma decided to aid Usagi in helping her live so long as the two would assimilate with one another. Usagi agreed and the Ginzuishou was made whole. But it was through their assimilation that caused two children to be born due to the fact that it occurred while Usagi was being raped by Mamoru. After the nine month period Usagi gave birth to twins Mitsukai and Chibiusa, while unknowingly to Kalma she had also given birth to twins Angelus and Black Lady Kage. Her twins were born within the minds of Mitsukai and Chibiusa which caused her to not realize they were there.

When she was finally granted her own body from Angelus after having met him, Kalma was capable of living her own life. But upon a later predicament Kalma was taken from her planet by Anubis and was put under his control. Through this control she bared a son named Shiotosu and later began to reject the child once she was free from its control. When her body was about to be destroyed by Angelus where she was forced to enter her ghost form and take Usagi’s body for her own. As a result, Usagi would enter a ghost form and she would take control of the body. After being defeated by Fong while under Cryisos’s control, she almost had to make a body for Usagi, but refused to do so.

When her husband Ikuhara returned to her planet while she was in the hands of Anubis, she was finally freed from his clutches and discovered that her father-in-law was Fong, much to her disappointment. But when her daughter Voima returned and announced that she conceived children with Kaos, this only seemed to cause uproar with the woman that she was now related to the being that she once deemed “master.” Due to her negativity in the past, Ikuhara made a deal with Kaos and she would be freed from its bonds, but her memories of being in servitude with the being would be erased.

She eventually regained memory later on, but it was when her brother Ryu came into the picture while she was at a club that caused her life to enter a whole new page. She believed at that time that she was being haunted by the past, hating every minute of it that her family was now aware of her existence and freedom. When her brother tried to bring her back to the Kage realm, she reluctantly tagged along, but when she entered the portal halfway through she couldn’t do it. She agreed that if she continued her training and was up to par in her abilities that she could remain in her realm.

Unfortunately this was not the last meeting she would encounter with her family. When the Head of Council, Mazui Kage entered into her realm to return her and her brother back to the Kage realm, Kalma was once again forced to continue her training or be taken back to the Kage realm on order of the Grand Elder. She reluctantly accepted and continued on with her studies. By the time she became acquainted with Mia, Kalma decided to take up modeling and created a form known as Zurui in order to pursue that career. She also gave the woman the title of “second-in-command” of her realm as well as partial control of the realm.

The rebirth of Zouka Kage

It was when she would become reunited with her mother Kayiko that caused Kalma to enter a battle with her mind. Kalma at this point in time despised her mother and father for never being there for her. She even questioned her own brother on why he hid them from her as she simply couldn’t understand. Due to this, Kalma tried to banish her mother from entering her life in fear of what happened in the past. Due to a conversation with the woman and her threatening to leave, Kalma’s personality of Zouka emerged as a “spirit” and the two conversed and agreed that they wanted a mother in their life. This caused Zouka to fully emerge from within yet this did not mean that the negative personality of Kalma was not there, as it most certainly was. It however, would mainly appear when she was in stressful situations or was trying to hide the personality of Zouka from others.

Tragedy then struck when Chouteki Yamiuchi returned in order to “finish the job” that she started millennia’s ago as she reactivated the dormant Kage virus within Kalma. Kalma during this time was on vacation in Egypt with her husband and her son Seiji, later to be accompanied by Voima who was unknowingly in Egypt at the time. Due to the intense heat Kalma fainted and once again began to show symptoms of the Kage virus. When Ikuhara returned her to Tuonela, she was transported by Fong to his realm and he put her on the mental ability at 100%. It wasn’t until Seiji returned with a gem that was supposed to heal her while she wore it. But when Ryu was told by Chinoumi, the current Grand Elders Sensei of what it was truly meant to do, Ryu cut that finger off of Kalma and that finger was recreated by a medical spell.

By the time her brother’s wedding with Mia came along, Kalma was at first reluctant on participating after having grown a phobia to weddings. She forced herself to erase her own wedding from her mind for a short period of time in order to attend. When a student of Ryu appeared at the wedding, Kalma fled as it appeared as though he wanted to attack. She managed to return to the wedding despite this fear. When the incident with Atlis began, Kalma was called upon by Mitsukai in order to help find his son Hiroshi. Kalma agreed to assist and gave him a ball of energy that would locate anyone who he so desired so long as he did it under the time span. Despite her dislike towards her family’s realm, she reluctantly returned in hopes of keeping her realm safe as she was certain she wouldn’t be found there.

She did however, return to her realm despite the danger she would have been in for returning. She appeared at the hospital when a battle between Umera and Scythe sprung in order to lure her old servant Kubera to a room not too far from the sight. When successful, she gave Kubera the opportunity of becoming temporary ruler of her planet Tuonela in order to ensure her safety. At the same time, she also discussed with Mia telepathically that she must be disconnected from her realm due to the danger that she would have been in if she was connected. When Mia appeared, Kalma transported the women to her planet and disconnected Mia from her realm.
