Queen Porteala

History

Formerly known as Queen Porteala of the realm which Fong came from there is very little known of the woman who commonly takes the form of a white bird known as Lunern. Porteala gave her throne up having no real interest to rule. Wanting to see how much time progressed she entered the realm of the Silver Millennium. Little to no one knows the connection between Fong and Porteala / Lunern. She is the mother to Ikuhara and former wife to the Great Master Fong.

Little to no one knows of her true form let along who she really is. In the Silver Millennium Queen Serenity met Porteala while she was in the form of Lunern. The two became very good friends and Serenity even appointed Lunern as another advisor. Serenity did not find out about Lunern’s true form until Porteala showed some of her true powers to Serenity.

Though not even Serenity knows that Fong and Porteala were once in a relationship considering that relationship started when they were not in normal time but in their own realm of time which began way before normal time aspects. Hence there is no telling how old Porteala or Fong is for that matter. Many consider Lunern to be a loud mouth bird which no respect and which is quite annoying. Though if one were to get to sit down and take the time to get to know Lunern as Serenity has done in the past they would know there is a lot more to that little white bird then what it appears to be.

Considering the events which took place in the Silver Millennium Lunern put herself in to hiding being that she promised Fong not to show her full amount of power unless he said so. When the Senshi were reborn on to Earth Lunern would come out of hiding only to join Luna in finding the Senshi. Lunern would leave it to Luna and Artemis to train the Senshi. When Angel was born Lunern would be the one who became the advisor to the young Moon prince watching over him while he was on Earth until Fong would take him to train. Lunern tends to remain in the bird form seeing no real reason to show her true powers or true self.

The outer being Porteala / Lunern’s powers are rare to be seen. So far one could consider the being to be a shape shifter. Lunern in the past has been known to go into a form of a white bird though when hanging around Angel in public she takes the form of a black long trench coat which he wears.

While Angel is wearing her within the coat form she gives him protection against any form of energy like attack. When Lunern is in it’ s bird form she can use her wings to deflect energy attacks or send massive waves of energy toward her foe.
