Ryu Kage

Attacks

The second twin sword of the Kage a gift from the Grand Elder is one of Ryu’s most prized weapons. In his eyes the sword itself is a flag of the Kage family and he makes it his business that if he takes this sword out to fight that one shall have fear in it if not him. Ryu on numerous amounts of times have taken this sword out in battles and has time after time proven why he is the elder of the Kage family. The Grand Elder labels Ryu as the enforcer of the Kage family despite him merely being the elder and it was one of the reasons along with Kalma he was given the sword. The sword of Kage unlike its older twin does not increase in size and mass but rather remains the same size. The sword like it’s sword like sibling has its own form of Kage power.

With in the sword it however there is a spirit which simply deems itself as Kage. It is unknown rather if this spirit is male or female. It is unknown rather if this spirit was put into the sword or if the spirit was there from the start of the making of the sword however it is this spirit which has found a form of warrior bond with Ryu. Unlike the first Kage sword only when the wielder of the sword fully is one with this spirit can they wield the sword of Kage. This allows the wielder to increase in both power and speed regardless of forms by at least three hundred fold. It allows the wielder to constantly fight at their complete max without losing energy or tiring. HOWEVER if the person’s natural form of energy depletes then they will lose that bond with the sword and they will not be able to go back with in this form of hyper state which can only be used when the person is not tired or wounded.

This is also one of the seven abilities which the sword has considering both Swords of the Kage have seven different attacks of their own. Another form of ability of the sword is that it is able to show reflections of teleport trail energies which allow Ryu to track where the person or persons are teleporting too and can even send attacks through that trail in an attempt to hit his foe. If a person is hit with any form of attack which is used by “Reflection“ is being used that person is forced back to their previous state with their form of teleporting ability as well as any other form of teleporting ability disabled for a day’s worth time.

A third attack of the sword is being able to cast down a massive amount of weight with every form of slash which is sent at the person however keeping its smaller size compared to its sword sibling and allowing the wielder to maintain their quick speed without being slowed down by such weight. This weight is mostly used to break foe’s stances or grounding when they are attempting to block or even try to go head up against the sword itself. So far Ryu knows six out of seven of the sword of Kage’s attacks.

History

Ryu Kage a dangerous and unpredictable soul. He is the last Kage you want to have as an enemy and one of the most feared among the male Kage’s next to the Grand Elder himself. He is a man of few words and more action and a man who hates to waste his time on petty matters as well as people. Ryu Kage is the elder sibling to Kalma Kage and is the very one who raised the woman since she was a child and since their parents never had cared for them. Unlike Kalma, Ryu understands the matter of why they were simply left to fend for themselves. It was upon the order of the former Grand Elder that they were to leave their children for the Grand Elder of this era had done this out of pure spite. The former Grand Elder had wanted Kayiko for himself however unable to have the woman allowed her into the Kage family to send both her as well as her husband through hell. For Ryu’s and Kalma’s parents to not obey that Grand Elders order their very children would be at risk of dying.

This was an attempt to banish their parents from the Kage Family a feat which failed when Sota took over as Grand Elder however this was not known to her parents they had by then left as ordered to protect their children. Kayiko’s last words to her son Ryu was to watch over Kalma with all his might to never allow anything to happen to his little sister and to teach her what he think is best for her not what the Kage thinks. These words Ryu simply gave a faint nod too and allowing his actions to speak for. While a lot of other Kage’s stuck to merely studying Ryu had a role to fill in this young male was teacher, parent and protector for his little sister.

Ryu despite having already known where his sister was at he allowed her to live out in her own realm on her own watching over her in secret. When Kaos attacked Kalma the dark being had to go through Ryu do to so. Back then Ryu only knew of half of his Kage spells and was no match for the dark being known as Kaos. Despite this Ryu fought Kaos head up. Ryu however losing that fight stands as the only battle throughout his life which he has lost a battle which proved to hurt him more mentally then physically. In his view he failed to keep his mother’s request and failed to protect his younger sister. Ryu was left a drift in space half dead while his sister was taken over by Kaos and was found by Kandis.

Kandis ordered by the Grand Elder to return with Ryu back to the Kage realm had been forced to leave being once Kalma was taken over they had not known of her whereabouts. It would be a full two weeks before Ryu would awaken from the fight only for the news of his sister’s fall to Kaos which brought anger among the Kage prince. The Grand Elder would refuse Ryu from leaving the realm until he had recovered which greatly angered him. It would be a day before Ryu’s wounds recovered fully and Ryu’s target “Kaos.” However the male was a good deal behind in his training. Ryu would continue his training in the Kage realm to up his strength to be able to match Kaos and for a week straight continue to train. It was upon the following week the Grand Elder gave Ryu the one of the Twin Swords of Kage which later on becomes one of Ryu’s most feared weapons to use.

Once Kalma was finally free from Kaos’s hold Ryu was able to once more keep track of his younger sister. This would not happen until a few centuries later and The Grand Elder would order Ryu to bring Kalma back to the Kage realm something which Ryu later on in time seemed to change his mind about doing after Kalma agreed to continue her training with him and since the Grand Elder had later on said she could stay as long as her training was up to par.

Getting to know Ryu… Good luck on trying to get close to Ryu if you're not family or friends and friends is something Ryu really does not have. The closest person to ever be able to get close to Ryu had been Miakio Xiong. If one gets to know him can see that there is more than a strict Kage in this male. He can be very naive and when learning new things can be like that of a child constantly asking questions and wanting to learn more until he completely masters what he is being taught. Ryu was once a man without love. This now Elder of the Kage family only knew protecting his younger sister and the Laws of the Kage. Love was something which Ryu did not only fail to understand but also did not even know such a word existed.

It was not until he met Miakio that he began to learn of such an emotion. At that not even advances toward him was what tipped it off but the mere constant times he spent with the woman which has been now over four centuries. A straight forward form of male is what best describes Ryu cause he is never one to beat around the bush or try to hide something. Ryu Kage can be a person’s worst enemy or depending on how one approaches him their best friend who would be fairly knew in his view and something for him to have to learn to understand.
